From November 11th to 12th, the Ministry of Transport held a national transportation and logistics cost reduction and quality improvement on-site promotion meeting in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The meeting emphasized the need to accurately grasp the new situation and requirements of the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and focus on promoting the transformation of transportation and logistics from focusing on the integration of logistics links itself to actively integrating into and serving the modern industrial system, from traditional driven elements to smart and green empowerment, from focusing on trunk line links to smooth urban agglomerations and urban-rural logistics distribution systems, and from focusing on smooth domestic circulation to promoting efficient internal and external connectivity. Through these four transformations, under the system of a strong transportation nation, efforts will be made to accelerate the construction of a modern transportation and logistics system focusing on infrastructure networks, logistics transportation services, technology equipment application, and data-enabled governance.
