FanDuel will partner with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange to launch a sports prediction platform.

FanDuel plans to collaborate with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) next month to launch a new sports prediction market platform, marking its most ambitious step yet in the rapidly growing prediction market field. This sports betting company, owned by Flutter Entertainment, will partner with the largest futures exchange in the United States, the CME, to launch FanDuel Predicts. The platform will allow users in states where online sports betting is illegal, such as California and Texas, to purchase "event contracts" predicting the outcomes of future sports events. A company spokesperson also stated that the company will introduce financial and cultural prediction markets in nearly all U.S. states.
