On Wednesday, New York's closing, the yield on the benchmark 10-year US Treasury bond fell by 4.47 basis points to 4.0713%, trading at a range of 4.0926%-4.0499% during the day. The holiday return saw a lower open with fluctuations at a low level throughout the day. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond fell by 2.49 basis points to 3.5659%, trading within a range of 3.5763%-3.5472% during the day. The yield on the 20-year US Treasury bond fell by 4.31 basis points, while the yield on the 30-year US Treasury bond fell by 3.79 basis points. The 3-year US Treasury bond yield fell by 2.50 basis points, the 5-year US Treasury bond yield fell by 4.52 basis points, and the 7-year US Treasury bond yield fell by 4.92 basis points. The 02/10-year US Treasury bond yield spread narrowed by 2.169 basis points to +50.147 basis points. The 3-month Treasury bill/10-year US Treasury bond yield spread narrowed by 7.406 basis points, the 02/30-year US Treasury bond yield spread narrowed by 1.386 basis points, and the 05/30-year US Treasury bond yield spread increased by 0.614 basis points. The yield on the 10-year inflation-protected Treasury bond fell by 2.82 basis points to 1.7813%; the yield on the 2-year TIPS rose by 0.32 basis points to 1.0153%; and the yield on the 30-year TIPS fell by 2.96 basis points to 2.4402%.
