Li Keqiang pointed out that against the backdrop of weak global economic recovery and sluggish trade and investment, China and Spain can strengthen strategic alignment, fully leverage their economic complementarity advantages, create more highlights and growth points in practical cooperation, and promote common development and prosperity. China is willing to continue to tap into the potential of bilateral trade with Spain, constantly increase the volume and promote structural optimization. China supports more strong Chinese companies to invest in Spain, expand cooperation in the fields of photovoltaics, green hydrogen, power batteries and supply chains, and explore future industry cooperation in artificial intelligence and other areas. It is hoped that Spain will create a fair and predictable market environment for Chinese companies. King Felipe VI stated that since President Xi Jinping's successful state visit to Spain in 2018, the bilateral relations have maintained strong momentum of development.
