From lowering interest rates to directly "exiting", some banks are canceling their five-year fixed deposit products.

Recently, the Munyin Bank of Tuyou Banner Township and the Munyin Bank of Kundulun Township announced simultaneous adjustments to the interest rates of regular RMB deposits. In the announcement, the Munyin Bank of Tuyou Banner Township explicitly stated that they have "cancelled the five-year fixed-term deposit", and the Munyin Bank of Kundulun Township also no longer provides this option in their updated interest rate table. On the 11th, when a reporter called the Munyin Bank of Kundulun Township, a bank staff member said, "The five-year fixed-term deposit is no longer available, we adjusted it on the 4th."
