Liu Yiyang mentioned that the 18th issue of "Qiushi" magazine published on September 16th featured an important article by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, entitled "Advancing the Construction of a Unified National Market in Depth." The article clearly stated: "Better play the self-discipline role of industry associations, guide companies to improve product quality. Promote the orderly exit of backward production capacity." Liu Yiyang said, "We will remember the requirements of the General Secretary and strive to promote industry self-discipline and 'anti-internal competition' work under the strong guidance of relevant ministries. By jointly promoting from both supply and demand sides, we will push for the orderly exit of backward production capacity in a market-oriented and legalized manner.
