On the afternoon of November 12th, at the 2025 International Symposium on Plant Phenomics, Ya Zhou Bay National Laboratory and Huawei jointly released an AI intelligent base for the agricultural breeding field - "Fan-Future Agricultural Intelligence Hub". By building a unified data platform with multiple centers in different locations, standardized collection of multimodal seed industry data is achieved, enabling AI to improve breeding efficiency and accelerate the industrialization of AI in China's agricultural research field. "Fan-Future Agricultural Intelligence Hub" is an AI full-chain technology system developed by Ya Zhou Bay National Laboratory with support from Huawei's AI Data Lake solution, including breeding intelligence body, seed industry data set, toolbox, and software and hardware infrastructure. By aggregating agricultural data from multiple sources nationwide, establishing standardized data sets covering genomics, phenomics, and environmental genomics, and combining tools such as data processing, application scheduling, and model engineering, an industry-specific breeding intelligence body is created. The intelligent body can complete data correlation screening, automated analysis arrangement, model verification, and intelligent decision-making in order to efficiently identify suitable breeding routes. Based on this, "Fan-Future Agricultural Intelligence Hub" will reshape the breeding process, potentially shortening the previous process of "parental selection - experimental breeding - field planting" from 20 generations to 5 generations, reducing the breeding cycle by 50% and increasing efficiency by 30%.
