The Sichuan Provincial Government Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to Deepen Strategic Cooperation.

On November 11, the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation in Chengdu. Shi Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, and Ren Hongbin, Secretary of the Party Group and President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, the provincial government and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will fully implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, actively integrate into and serve the Belt and Road Initiative, the construction of the national strategic hinterland, the new era of western development, and the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and other national major strategies. They will further deepen and expand cooperation in areas such as international exchanges, domestic and international economic and trade promotion, exhibition industry development, commercial law services, the construction of application-oriented think tanks, and the reform of local trade promotion agency construction. They will jointly promote the high-quality development of trade promotion, accelerate the construction of a strategic highland for opening to the west, and build a new base for international competition participation.
