Finance and economics app Zhitong learned that Google (GOOGL.US) is adding multiple artificial intelligence (AI) features to its Pixel devices, including information summaries and notification prioritization like the iPhone. These new features, released on Tuesday, are driven by on-device AI. Text content in chat applications can generate summaries in the notification bar, allowing users to quickly understand the content of long conversations such as group chats. Last year, Apple (AAPL.US) also introduced "Apple Intelligence," which includes similar tools.
