On the 10th local time, the 30th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change opened in Belm, Brazil. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, and global climate governance has entered a critical stage. One of the key focuses of this conference is the new round of Nationally Determined Contributions. According to the Paris Agreement, countries must submit new and more ambitious Nationally Determined Contributions this year. Chinese leaders recently announced China's 2035 Nationally Determined Contribution target, covering all economic sectors, including all greenhouse gases, and for the first time proposing an absolute reduction target, demonstrating China's firm determination and maximum effort. China has always been a doer and practitioner in dealing with climate change. China's cumulative installed capacity of wind and solar power has reached 1.68 billion kilowatts, more than three times that of 2020, achieving the target of installed capacity promised to the international community more than 6 years ahead of schedule. Meanwhile, the enthusiasm of some countries for addressing climate change is waning. COP30 President Dolago stated that as wealthy countries lose their enthusiasm for addressing the climate crisis, China is rapidly rising in the production and application of clean energy equipment, and those countries should learn from China's practices instead of complaining about being surpassed. He praised China's actions for providing a "solution that benefits all countries."
