French central bank: economy expected to only grow slightly in the fourth quarter, political uncertainty causing drag
The Bank of France stated that the French economy "will see slight growth in the fourth quarter", with November expansion rates slowing down due to high political uncertainty, however, the central bank did not provide specific numbers in its monthly forecast released on Tuesday. The Bank of France said in its regular survey that the significant budget vote, along with the grim international situation, is expected to slow down major investment projects in France in November. The report said: "Due to political situation, industrial order volumes are generally low, and uncertainty remains high."
