Exploration in Dabancheng, Xinjiang, discovered 200 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

Recently, the Geological Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region announced that the oil and gas battle project in the Dabancheng area of Urumqi has made a breakthrough in exploration, with a preliminary assessment of natural gas geological reserves exceeding 200 billion cubic meters, with the potential to form a large oil and gas field. It is understood that the oil and gas battle project in the Dabancheng area of Urumqi includes 7 blocks including Yongfeng North and South blocks. In recent years, Xinjiang has accelerated the exploration of oil and gas in the Dabancheng area, deploying a total of 15 exploration wells, with 11 already completed drilling.
