On the 11th, local time, Director General of the International Organization for Migration, IOM, Antnio Vitorino warned that the situation in the Fashir area of North Darfur, Sudan, is extremely unsafe, with widespread human rights violations such as large-scale killings, racial discrimination, and sexual violence. This has led to a sharp increase in the number of displaced people and further worsening of the humanitarian crisis.
