Ding Xuexiang meets with the Norwegian Foreign Minister Eide.
On the 11th, Ding Xuexiang, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Eide in Beijing. Ding Xuexiang stated that the traditional friendship between the Chinese and Norwegian people is solid, and the relationship between the two countries maintains stable and healthy development. In September last year, President Xi Jinping met with Prime Minister Stre, reaching important consensus on further developing the bilateral relationship. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee outlined a grand blueprint for China's development in the next 5 years, providing more opportunities for China-Norway cooperation. Both sides should deepen political mutual trust, strengthen strategic communication, enhance practical cooperation in fields such as trade and investment, green transformation, and climate change response, bringing more benefits to the people of both countries. Eide highly praised China's remarkable achievements in green transformation and development, expressing Norway's adherence to the One China policy and willingness to further enhance Norway-China relations and push cooperation in all areas to new levels.
