The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Notice on Further Accelerating the Systematic Layout and High-level Construction of Manufacturing Industry Trial Platform". It proposed to follow the development guidelines and key points of construction of manufacturing industry trial platforms, and to promote the construction of trial platforms in a way that strengthens, activates, and complements them. Emphasizing the public service nature and function, clarifying the construction path, and systematically promoting the development of trial platform construction. The "Guidelines for the Construction of Manufacturing Industry Trial Platforms" mentioned the improvement of experimental basic conditions. It supports trial platforms to carry out the construction of trial lines and test sites, providing trial equipment, instruments, test data, basic software, industrial software, as well as safety and environmental protection facilities needed for technology maturity, process validation, sample trial production, and scale-up production. It encourages the application of technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, virtual simulation, digital twin, etc., to improve the digitalization, networking, intelligentization, and greenization capabilities of trial platforms. It guides trial platforms to cultivate composite talents who understand products, manufacturing, testing, equipment, and safety, to solve complex engineering problems.
