Changsha Customs announced on November 10th that in the first 10 months of this year, the total import and export value of Hunan Province reached 437.17 billion yuan, with continued growth in trade with countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative, and maintaining the largest scale of non-trade in the central and western regions. In the first 10 months, the import and export value with countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative in Hunan reached 256.65 billion yuan, a growth of 0.4%, accounting for 58.7% of the total import and export value of the province, which is 7 percentage points higher than the national average. The imports and exports with ASEAN and Africa reached 80.47 billion yuan and 48.85 billion yuan respectively, with a growth of 4% and 17%. The export of mechanical and electrical products accounted for nearly 60%. In the first 10 months, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Hunan reached 152.22 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7%, accounting for 57.9% of the total export value of the province; the exports of automobiles and "new three goods" reached 26.13 billion yuan and 15.41 billion yuan respectively, with an increase of 17.3% and 78.3%, maintaining a strong momentum of growth for 6 consecutive months and 13 consecutive months respectively. In October, the monthly exports increased by 14.5% and 87.5% respectively.
