Good House Industry Development Forum held in Beijing

Recently, the Good House Industry Development Forum was held in Beijing. With the theme of "Technology Empowers Good House Construction, Industry Upgrade Promotes New Development", the forum saw in-depth and fruitful exchanges and discussions among participants on cutting-edge technologies, practical experiences, and industry promotion related to building good houses. Li Xiaolong, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, attended the forum and delivered a speech. Li Xiaolong pointed out that "good houses" embody the aspirations of thousands of households for a better life. The Fourth Plenary Session of the Twentieth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made a major decision to build safe, comfortable, green, and smart "good houses". Implementing the decisions and deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China requires the joint efforts of the industry and persistent work. It is necessary to adhere to the principle of people first, respect science, laws, and reality, focus on good standards, design, materials, construction, and maintenance, improve the standard system, strengthen technological empowerment, enhance demonstration and guidance, and cultivate industrial clusters to better meet the high-quality housing needs of the people. Speeches were also given by Wen Bing, General Manager of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, Xu Jiefeng, Chairman of China Academy of Building Research, and Liu Zhihong, Vice President of China Construction Science and Technology Group. Representatives from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the University of Hong Kong, government technology centers, China Overseas Land & Investment, and China Resources Land delivered keynote speeches. About 200 people, including officials from relevant departments, provinces, and municipalities responsible for housing construction and urban-rural development, as well as representatives from enterprises and experts, participated in the forum.
