The US Department of Treasury and Internal Revenue Service have released new regulations allowing the pledging of digital assets for cryptocurrency ETPs.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen stated on November 10th that the U.S. Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service have issued new guidelines, opening up a clear path for cryptocurrency exchanges to offer products for trading, allowing them to stake digital assets and share staking rewards with retail investors.
