Yuan Shuai, deputy secretary-general of the Zhongguancun IoT Industry Alliance, told reporters, "Leading storage manufacturers at home and abroad have raised product prices multiple times this year. The rapid development of AI technology is the fundamental driving force behind the soaring demand in the storage market. AI technology servers and terminal products have higher requirements for the quantity and performance of storage, leading to a 'super cycle' in the storage industry chain." Regarding this round of price increase for storage products, Su Shang Bank's special researcher Fu Yifu stated in an interview with reporters, "Different from the demand for storage products in traditional consumer electronics products, the vigorous development of artificial intelligence technology has higher requirements for storage speed, capacity, and power consumption, therefore, the demand for high-end storage products is experiencing explosive growth."
