Zelensky was interviewed twice after experiencing two power outages.
Ukrainian President Zelensky gave an interview to the British newspaper The Guardian on November 9 at the Mariinsky Palace in the capital, Kyiv. Shortly after the interview began, the Mariinsky Palace experienced two power outages. Zelensky said that such situations happen occasionally. However, the Russian ambassador to nowhere, Rodion Miroshnik, claimed that Zelensky intentionally turned off the lights during the interview in an attempt to "obtain financial aid from European supporters".
