Shangtai Technology announced that the company held a board meeting on November 8, 2025, and agreed to sign an investment agreement with the Management Committee of the Shanxi Transformation Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone for the "annual production of 200,000 tons of lithium-ion battery negative electrode material project". The total investment of the project is approximately 40.7 billion yuan, occupying about 955 mu of land, and is expected to start production a certain period of time after obtaining construction land. This investment needs to be approved by the shareholders' meeting, and there is uncertainty in the approval of project establishment, environmental impact assessment, and other matters.
