The preparations for the 9th Import Expo have already started, with the exhibition area for contracted enterprises exceeding 80,000 square meters. Wu Zhengping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, and Chairman of the National Exhibition and Convention Center, revealed at the closing press conference held on the same afternoon that this Expo had active transactions. The intended transaction amount reached $83.49 billion USD for the year, a 4.4% increase from the previous year, setting a new record. The Expo organized activities such as special matchmaking for exhibitors and buyers, closed-door meetings for enterprises, and the launch of a high-quality consumption month around the themes of "Export to China," "Invest in China," and "Purchase in China," promoting mutual promotion and effective coordination of trade, investment, and consumption. The important platform function and spillover effects of the Import Expo have been further amplified.
