China Passenger Car Association: National retail sales of passenger cars in October totaled 2.242 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 0.8%.

According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that in October, the national retail sales of passenger cars totaled 2.242 million vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 0.8% and a month-on-month decrease of 0.1%. In the year to date, cumulative retail sales reached 19.25 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. The growth rate of domestic car market retail sales this year increased by 1.2% from January to February, by 15% from March to June, hovered around 6% from July to September, and fell back to a stable state in October, showing a deceleration characteristic of the high base in the second half of the year, which is basically in line with the trend of "low in the beginning, high in the middle, and stable in the end" predicted at the beginning of the year.
