Qinghai Provincial Department of Transportation former party member and deputy director Tian Mingyou has been expelled from the party and dismissed from his position.

Upon investigation, Tian Ming, as a party member and leader, has lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original intentions and mission, been disloyal and dishonest to the party, deliberately resisted organizational scrutiny; disregarded the spirit of the central eight regulations, accepted gifts and money in violation of regulations, accepted banquets and entertainment arrangements that may affect the fair execution of official duties; violated organizational principles, failed to truthfully report personal matters; intervened in and meddled in project contracting; used public power as a tool to seek personal gain, engaged in power-money transactions, used his position to profit for others in project contracting and other areas, and illegally accepted large sums of money and property.
