India continues to impose anti-dumping duties on linen fabrics.

Recently, the Indian Department of Revenue, Tax Department issued Notification No. 31/2025-Customs, accepting the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's third final ruling recommendation on the anti-dumping sunset review of linen fabrics containing over 50% flax originating from or imported from mainland China and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on August 8, 2025. It was decided to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on the products involved for a period of 5 years, at rates of $2.36 per meter for mainland China and $1.14 per meter for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This case involves products under Indian customs code 5309. The measures will take effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette.
