The Indian newspaper "Indian Hindu News" reported that China Eastern Airlines became the first Chinese airline to resume passenger flights between China and India in 2025, marking the official resumption of the "China-India route" after a 5-year hiatus. On the 9th, the first flight of China Eastern Airlines on the "Shanghai Pudong-Delhi" route carried 248 passengers, with a seat occupancy rate of over 95%. Flights will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
