Venezuela sends over 5000 tons of humanitarian aid to Cuba.

On November 8th local time, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) announced that Venezuela has sent over 5000 tons of humanitarian aid to Cuba through the organization to help the country recover from the aftermath of Hurricane "Melissa". The ALBA stated that a cargo ship carrying the relief supplies has set sail from Venezuela and will cross the Caribbean Sea to reach Cuba. The aid consists of 102 containers containing food, medicine, and other essential supplies. In addition, Venezuela has also sent a team of electric industry workers to support the recovery efforts in the affected areas.
