The two external power lines of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant have been repaired.
On the 8th, the news department of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant announced that one of the external power lines, the Feodosia-1 transmission line, has been repaired and connected to the grid. With this, both external power lines of the nuclear power plant have been restored, "significantly improving the stability of the power system." According to the report, the Feodosia-1 transmission line has been out of power since May 7th; the other external power line, the "Dniprovska" line, was interrupted due to continuous shelling by Ukrainian forces for 30 days, but has been repaired and reconnected to the grid on October 23rd. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, announced on the 7th that a local ceasefire has been implemented in the surrounding areas of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant to create necessary conditions for maintenance work.
