A bear entered the garage of the Japanese Shinkansen.

According to information from the Japanese police and the Japan Railways Company, at around 2:30 pm local time today, a bear was found to have entered and remained in the vehicle storage area of the JR Shinjo Station in Shinjo, Yamagata Prefecture. Currently, the bear is still inside the garage, and authorities are considering setting up traps to capture it. As a result, trains on the Yamagata Shinkansen and Ou Main Line have been suspended, with both the Shinkansen and local lines departing from Shinjo Station currently in a state of non-operation.
