On November 7th, local time, the two-day Belm Climate Summit concluded its agenda. The leaders and delegation heads of various countries attending the summit jointly released the "Belm Declaration" focusing on hunger, poverty, and people-centered climate action. The declaration recognizes that climate change has exacerbated hunger and poverty, and calls for more fair and inclusive climate action, with a focus on the most vulnerable groups. During the summit, Brazil officially launched the "Forever Tropical Rainforest Fund," with a total of 34 countries with tropical forests signing the fund declaration, covering nearly 90% of the tropical forests in developing countries.
