On Friday, New York spot gold rose by 0.56% to $3999.29 per ounce in the final trading session, with a sharp intraday high of $4027.43 at 00:00 Beijing time followed by a retreat. Gold prices fell by 0.07% for the week, showing a V-shaped pattern overall. COMEX gold futures rose by 0.41% to $4007.20 per ounce, with a weekly increase of 0.27%. Spot silver rose by 0.62% to $48.3334 per ounce, but weekly decrease of 0.70%. COMEX silver futures rose by 0.56% to $48.220 per ounce, with a weekly increase of 0.13%. COMEX copper futures fell by 0.34% to $4.9580 per pound, with a weekly decrease of 2.96%.
