The air traffic control system at Indira Gandhi International Airport in the Indian capital of New Delhi experienced technical issues on the 7th, causing delays for more than 800 flights. The Airports Authority of India posted a notice on social media that day, stating that the automatic information exchange system had a technical malfunction, affecting flight operations at the New Delhi airport. The system is used to support air traffic control data. Currently, controllers are manually managing flight plans, leading to delays for some flights.
