The number of participating companies in the 8th China International Import Expo reached a historic high, with a significant increase in the proportion of new participants. As a "super connector" between global high-quality resources and the Chinese market, the CIIE continues to release unique attractiveness, continuously attracting many multinational giants to participate for the first time. First Financial reporter's visit found that coatings giant Axalta Asia brought its global core paint product lineup for the first time; Mettler-Toledo Group, known for manufacturing the world's first single-pan balance scale, made its debut at the expo and simultaneously introduced three global debut products. From Axalta's green coatings to Mettler-Toledo's precision instruments, the debut products all closely cater to the Chinese market's demand for intelligence and low-carbonization, confirming the overflow effect of the CIIE's transformation from exhibits to commodities and exhibitors to investors. As more companies move their headquarters and research centers to China, the CIIE is becoming a core hub for multinational companies to deepen their presence in the local market and expand their global strategies. Former president of the US-China Business Council, Craig Allen, told First Financial that China's innovation vitality relies on diversity, and the CIIE is an excellent platform for China to draw on the strengths of others.
