Forbes China Mainland Rich List 2025: Nongfu Spring (09633.HK) founder Zhong Shanshan has been at the top for five consecutive years.

According to the 36Kr Finance and Economics APP, on November 7th, the 2025 Forbes China Mainland Rich List was released. Since the last Forbes survey, the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 Index has risen by 15%, pushing the total wealth of this year's list of rich individuals from last year's $1.03 trillion to $1.35 trillion. Two-thirds of the rich individuals on the list saw an increase in their wealth, with Nongfu Spring founder Zhong Shanshan maintaining the top spot for the fifth consecutive year. His wealth grew by $26.3 billion, reaching $77.1 billion, making him the richest person with the largest increase in wealth. In the first half of 2025, his flagship drinking water and beverage giant saw double-digit growth in both net profits and revenues.
