Deputy Secretary-General Liu Jiannan of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade attended the theme event on "Smart Customs Empowering Trade Security and Convenience - New Era High-level Opening-up to the Outside World and Trade Facilitation".

On November 6th, the theme event "Smart Customs Empowering Trade Security and Convenience - New Era of High-level Opening-up and Trade Facilitation" of the 8th China International Import Expo was held in Shanghai. Liu Jiannan, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, attended and delivered a speech. Liu Jiannan stated that the construction of smart customs is of great significance in enhancing trade security and facilitation, and promoting the stable development of industrial and supply chains. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will deepen its exchange and cooperation with the General Administration of Customs, promote active participation of the industry in the construction of smart customs, help foreign trade enterprises make good use of the advantages of smart customs, and support enterprises in expanding overseas.
