According to data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in the first three quarters of 2025, China's current account surplus was 3507.4 billion yuan, including a merchandise trade surplus of 5201.5 billion yuan, a service trade deficit of 1116.6 billion yuan, a primary income deficit of 684.4 billion yuan, and a secondary income surplus of 106.9 billion yuan. The capital and financial account (including net errors and omissions in the third quarter) had a deficit of 3388.5 billion yuan.
