Hong Kong Monetary Authority: By the end of October 2025, Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserves amounted to USD 426 billion.

According to the intelligence from the Zhitong Financial APP, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced today (November 7) that Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserve assets at the end of October 2025 were US$426 billion (US$419.1 billion at the end of September 2025). There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at the end of October 2025 (US$3 billion at the end of September 2025). The total amount of foreign exchange reserve assets of US$426 billion is equivalent to more than five times the circulating currency in Hong Kong, or about 37% of the Hong Kong dollar currency supply M3.
