Shanghai "Silk Road e-commerce" cooperation pilot zone celebrates its two-year anniversary with achievements released.

On the morning of November 7th, as an important event of the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, the "Silk Road E-commerce" Cooperation and Innovation Development Promotion Conference and the launch ceremony of the 2025 National "Silk Road Cloud Products" E-commerce Month were successfully held in Shanghai. The theme of this conference was "Connecting the E-commerce Chain Worldwide, Gathering the Future with Silk Road Cloud". During the event, the "Silk Road E-commerce Story Collection" was released along with the achievements of the two-year construction of the Shanghai "Silk Road E-commerce" Cooperation Pilot Zone, and the launch of the 2025 National "Silk Road Cloud Products" E-commerce Month. The conference was held concurrently with the 8th China International Import Expo, and through the collaboration between the China International Import Expo and the "Silk Road E-commerce" Cooperation Pilot Zone, it aimed to help exhibitors efficiently enter the Chinese market through e-commerce platforms. It was reported that since October 2023, Shanghai has made in-depth efforts in creating the "Silk Road E-commerce" Cooperation Pilot Zone, adhering to leading in institutional openness, cultivating main entities, and cooperating in mechanisms. It has built a high-standard digital trade infrastructure system, formed a trade hub function that serves the entire supply chain, and created international public goods that promote inclusive growth in e-commerce. Over the past two years, the cooperation pilot zone has achieved 10 institutional innovation results, developed 12 innovation practice cases that have been replicated and promoted nationwide, and has become a vibrant practice of high-quality co-building of the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
