The World Internet Conference in Wuzhen Summit will open in 2025. Alibaba Group CEO Daniel Zhang gave a speech at the opening ceremony, stating that AI technology is accelerating towards "general artificial intelligence" and will eventually achieve "super artificial intelligence." In the face of this intelligent revolution, Alibaba is increasing investment to create a super AI cloud and promote open source, open access, and technology inclusiveness with full-stack AI capabilities. Zhang stated that the development of AI will go through three stages: the first stage is the emergence of intelligence, which has been the main theme in recent years, with AI characterized as "learning from people." The second stage is moving towards "general artificial intelligence," which we are currently in, with AI characterized as "assisting people." The third stage is achieving "super artificial intelligence," with AI connecting to the real world's full range of raw data, possessing the ability to learn independently and iterate on its own. In this stage, AI is characterized as "surpassing humans" - but it will take a very long time.
