"Anti-overwork" new regulations take effect, with the price difference of the eleventh batch of national procurement the smallest in history.
Reporters learned from the National Medical Insurance Administration that the eleventh batch of national centralized procurement focuses on the principles of "stabilizing clinical practices, ensuring quality, combating internal competition, and preventing bid rigging." There have been significant innovations in the rules, and the results indicate that the expected goals have been basically achieved.
According to staff, on average, each variety in the eleventh batch of centralized procurement has 14 companies competing, nearly double compared to the average of 7.5 companies in the previous ten batches. However, despite the increased competition, a higher selection rate has been achieved and the price difference between the selected products has decreased from an average of 2 times in the previous ten batches to 1.7 times.
"This indicates that the newly introduced measures to combat internal competition have had a positive effect. Through the introduction of an "anchor point" mechanism for adjustments, individual abnormally low prices have been effectively prevented." In addition, experts have also stated that the price difference in this round of centralized procurement should be the smallest of all previous rounds.
