The latest quarterly tracking report from the International Data Corporation shows that in the third quarter of 2025, approximately 68.46 million smartphones were shipped in China, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%, continuing the downward trend. This quarter is traditionally a slow season for smartphone sales, with fewer new product releases and consumers becoming more rational, especially with the tightening of government subsidy policies. Starting in the latter half of September, various brands have begun to release a large number of flagship new products earlier than usual, with market performance expected to improve in the early stages of the next quarter. However, as some demand has already been released in the first half of the year, even with the year-end promotion events such as "Double Eleven," it may be difficult to stimulate more consumer desires.
