By 2025, the game IP market is expected to exceed 275 billion yuan, with rapid growth in cross-sector IPs.

The "2025 China Digital Entertainment Industry IP Development Report" was released at the Game IP Ecology Conference held today. The report shows that the actual sales revenue of China's game IP market in 2025 is estimated to reach 275.39 billion yuan, an increase of 2% year-on-year. Among them, original game IP accounts for 49.2% of the market; licensed IP accounts for 43.6%; although cross-domain IP accounts for only 7.2%, it is one of the fastest growing areas this year, with an expected scale increase of more than 7 billion yuan year-on-year.
