During the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, Liu Qiangdong stated that JD.com's sorting center in Beijing has now replaced 90% of human workers with robots. By next April, JD.com will establish the world's first fully unmanned delivery station. According to him, the delivery station will have drones for take-off and landing on the top of the building, while unmanned delivery vehicles will be stationed below. Inside the station, robotic arms will load the goods onto the drones and vehicles, completing the entire process without any human involvement.
