Semiconductor ETFs fell more than 2.3%, leading the decline in US stock industry ETFs.

On Thursday, the semiconductor ETF fell by 2.34%, while the global technology stock index ETF and consumer discretionary ETF also dropped by over 2.3%. The technology industry ETF fell by 2.01%, the internet stock index ETF by 1.99%, and the energy sector ETF saw a rise of 0.97%. Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index, the consumer discretionary sector declined by 2.5% - with component stocks such as Doordash falling by 17.45%, TPR-DRS-RS by 9.61%, Chipotle Mexican Grill by 4.41% (the third largest decline), and Tesla by 3.50%, showing poor performance. The information technology/technology sector fell by 2%, the telecommunications sector by 0.67%, and the energy sector saw a rise of 0.87%.
