Chicago wheat futures fell about 3.4%, soybean meal fell about 3.7%
On Thursday, the Bloomberg Commodity Index fell by 2.37% in late trading in New York, closing at 30.2363 points. After a "gapping lower open" at 11:00 Beijing time, it stabilized near 30.70 points, but accelerated its decline after the opening of the U.S. stock market at 22:30. CBOT corn futures fell by 1.49%, closing at $4.2875 per bushel. CBOT wheat futures fell by 3.38%, closing at $5.36 per bushel. CBOT soybean futures fell by 2.31%, closing at $11.08 per bushel, while soybean meal futures fell by 3.69% and soybean oil futures fell by 0.85%. CBOT lean hog futures fell by 1.92%, live cattle futures fell by 0.78%, and feeder cattle futures fell by 1.32%.
