IATA: Global demand for air cargo in September increased by 2.9% year-on-year.

According to the latest data from the Zhitong Financial APP, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) revealed that the global air freight market demand (measured in freight tonne kilometers, CTK) in September 2025 increased by 2.9% compared to September 2024 (with international business growing by 3.2%). Capacity (available freight tonne kilometers, ACTK) also increased by 3.0% compared to September 2024 (with international business growing by 4.4%).
