Analyst: Uncertainty in the budget is expected to push the Bank of England to keep interest rates unchanged.
In a report, Matt Brazier of London Capital Group stated that the Bank of England is expected to keep the benchmark interest rate at 4.0% and wait for the details of the fiscal plan to be announced in the UK budget on November 26. Brazier pointed out that due to uncertainty about new policy measures that may be introduced in the budget, some businesses and households have delayed their financial planning, suppressing economic activity. He indicated that the Bank of England may wait until after the budget is announced before considering a vote to support a rate cut.
