Russian oil and gas revenue in October dropped over 26% year-on-year.

According to calculations by TASS and statistics from the Russian Ministry of Finance, in October 2025, Russia's oil and gas revenue decreased by 26.6% compared to the same period last year, from 12.118 trillion rubles to 8.886 trillion rubles. However, the revenue increased by 52.6% compared to the previous month, mainly due to the additional profit tax collected in the quarter, which brought in 327.8 billion rubles in October. From January to October, oil and gas revenue decreased by 21.4%, to 7.498 trillion rubles, compared to 9.539 trillion rubles in the same period last year.
