China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: In September, the import of complete vehicles was 41,000, a decrease of 25.6% year-on-year.

According to the data from the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in September 2025, a total of 41,000 vehicles were imported, a decrease of 8.7% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 25.6% year-on-year; the import amount was 20.4 billion US dollars, a decrease of 3.3% month-on-month and a decrease of 36.4% year-on-year. From January to September 2025, a total of 360,000 vehicles were imported, a decrease of 32.4% year-on-year; the import amount was 182.5 billion US dollars, a decrease of 40.1% year-on-year.
