Launch of "China Shopping 2025 Boutique Consumption Month"

On November 5th, the launching ceremony of "Buy in China 2025 Boutique Consumption Month" was held in Shanghai. Vice Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping, Deputy Director of the Central Radio and Television General Station Wang Xiaozhen attended and delivered speeches. Shanghai Municipal Committee Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Mayor Wu Wei, Beijing Vice Mayor Tang Wenhong, Tianjin Vice Mayor Wang Xiufeng, Chongqing Vice Mayor Xu Jian, and Guangzhou Vice Mayor Hu Hao attended and introduced their cities' key activities and measures. The Ministry of Commerce thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, conscientiously implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, organized and carried out the "Buy in China 2025 Boutique Consumption Month" activities, demonstrated the leading role of international consumption center cities, and coordinated with more than 100 cities nationwide to create the annual flagship event of "Buy in China". During the event, various regions will focus on promoting the high-end economy, carry out a series of expanding consumption activities in the four areas of boutique shopping, exquisite food, wonderful tourism, and exquisite performances, expand the supply of high-quality consumer goods and services, create a batch of new consumption scenarios with broad driving range and high visibility, and continue to unleash consumer potential. At the launching ceremony, the guest country of the eighth China International Import Expo introduced characteristic products from their country, domestic large-scale commercial circulation enterprises announced their intentions to purchase imported goods, representatives from new consumer brands and old well-known brands introduced their new products, and representatives from service consumption enterprises also announced their activity arrangements.
